Prince, Poet and Prefect---Romans by identity---
came to offer the Child their homage worshipfully
the Child made known to them by the star they had watched;
the Child Who, grown to Manhood, shall alter the course of History;
Whose Words will humble and conquer even Rome
(where, now, bitter, vindictive, trumpted politicians have a comfortable home).
