Taking the time to learn

About who we both are inside

Taking the time to smile

Every time we are together or apart

Is bringing us closer day by day



I know there will be times we will cry

And times we will laugh

But each time, each step we take

Together to overcome any

Problems will only bring us closer

To each other’s hearts



Even though we have only just met

I can’t wait for each day

When I wake up, knowing that

I might get the chance to say hello



I smile when I hear your voice

And I melt when I kiss your lips

When we hold each other I feel so safe

And when we make love

It just takes my breath away



I just want you to know that

I want to be there for you

Whenever you need me and whenever you don’t

I want to be able to catch your tears

And I want you to know that
