I see in your eyes and deep in your soul

I see the light you don't always show

I see your tears even when they don't flow

I see the strength carried within your smile

I see your inner scars and all your trials

I see it now and I've seen it all the while

I see you shaking from fear and denial

I see you trying hard to keep it together

I see burdens you carry each and every day

I see all the gifts that you're giving to others

I see that you're trying your hardest to stay

I see you fighting with all of your might

I see even your tiniest flicker of light
