A teacher once asked her class a simple question:
"What do you miss most about being a child?"
Kids raised their hands immediately.
"Summer vacations", "Cartoons",
Playing outside until dark."
Then one boy quietly said, "I don't know."
The room laughed. But the teacher didn't.
Because she realized something heartbreaking:
You can't miss a childhood you never really had.
Some children learn how to read emotions
before they learn how to ride a bike.
They become the peacekeeper.
The worrier. The responsible one.
Growing older on the outside
while growing tired on the inside.
