Everything's going wrong I'm turned upside down.
I know I can always count on you to erase my frown.
In this dying world of lies and constant decay.
Your love gives me strength with each passing day.

The clouds are rolling in, the sky never looked so black.
My claws are sprawled out I'm set for the attack.
But when I'm with you baby, my defense is down.
Cause' your my constant, I know you'll always be around.

I have no reason to fear anymore.
I've never been loved like this before.
I thought I knew it all, like I could write the book.
Shivers slither down my spine, with your looks.

Things have been turned inside out.
I no longer wonder what love is really about.
In this dying world you're the only light I see.
A fluorescent green against devastation's beauty.

I don't give a fuck about what they say.
Cause' In all my life I've never felt this way.
To be completely understood without question.
A partnership has been born, a morbid conception.

I'll paint my eyes for you, looking so panda bear.
You don't mind it, when I take down your hair.
Simple things make me happy, like when we play smash.
I have no question in my mind, I know we'll forever last.

In this dying world you're one more reason to keep living.
I've departed from  my cynicism, being held by you is believing.
I used to think love was something store-bought fake like Disney.
I've seen the light, I'm no longer blind cause' your the only one I see.

Love is neither black nor white.
No one can tell us what's wrong or right.
The only one I answer to is my own heart.
You've stitched it up, I'm no longer torn apart.
I feel no words can express the closeness that I feel.
In this dying world of charades you're my only real.
