Innocence lost

Is a phrase

That's supposed to be used

For little girls sodomized by drunk stepfathers

Or little boys experiencing war

But not for you-

Not you

And, I sit here

Wanting to cry

For your innocence lost

Because it hurts me

To know it's gone

The one, true, and pure, person

I knew in life

Corrupted

By a pain I hoped you would never feel

And hope you will never feel again.
