When I get home and I see you there

I take the pins out of my hair



I get in the shower and wash away

All the stress I dealt with today



I put on a T-shirt and I lay down

Next to you and don’t make a sound



So I can take in this moment of time

That I’ve been blessed with to have u mine



I hold you tight and don’t let go

And I pray to myself that you really know



Just how much I need you here

And how your presence alone makes me feel



I hope that you will never leave

Because its only you my dear that I honestly need



I love you and I’m holding on

And I’m praying that this will stay strong



I lay my head on your chest

And all my anxieties seem to take a rest



Just stay close to me and hold me tight
