I travel down this road, yet it will soon come to an end
And I will branch off onto a highway, and then never find the road again
Everything I give to this world that takes
Everything I think all throughout the day
They will never amount to anything greater than thee
And this road I travel on that only I can see
The twists and turns made the road much longer
They keep me on the trail
But I now see the vast highway in the distance where the sky looks hateful and pale
Now I long to cling to each landmark I pass
On this road, plain, grand, and vast
What will I do, who will I be?
When I turn off this road I travel on that only I can see
Nothing in this world has ever been just for me
And this road I travel will come to an end quickly
For the pain in my eyes with the resented goodbyes will never amount to anything greater than thee
And this road I travel on that was never made for me
