It is said that in our darkest hour
Is when we truly shine magnificently
From the beginning we are destined to fail
Only to learn to rise more gracefully
We will always fall only to rise again
Each time it will make us a little stronger
When we overcome our obstacles
Is when we will fear no longer
It is only in total chaos that we become
What we were destined from birth
And only in that destruction
Will we know our own worth
We are more than what we think we are
We can always rise to any occasion
We sell our selves short in everything because
We believe we don't deserve the recognition
But what of those who do not try
The ones that avoid that redeeming crown
They feel unworthy of anything better
And decline before they are let down
To those I give this advice
The further that you believe you are
Only means that there is that much
Further you can rise above that bar
That standard you set for yourself
Maybe all you think you deserve and despise
The point of all obstacles is to rise above
To better your self worth in your eyes
Don't ever settle for less than what you deserve
Take that chance and never let go
Learn the lessons of your mistakes
And never again set that bar so low
You are whatever you make of yourself
And the sky is never the limit
Thrive in abundance of all you love
And only look back to say "See, I DID IT!"
