My time hasn't come quite yet
So why am I going numb?
Turning blue and losing air
I guess I'll save you the trouble
Of saying your goodbyes to me
Because I'm already gone
And I'm glad I left before you
You've got something to live for
And though this is a metaphor
I'm glad to see you still standing
And I'm happy to watch you
Especially with that smile
I don't want you to see me
As I try to cleanse my hands
These vibrant red fluids
Haven't bled from my wrists
Rather from my wounded skull
Or maybe they fall from the sky
The heart of the clouds has failed
And God is mourning the loss
And if you do not believe
Then taste the rain for yourself
And maybe just for you
It will taste like rasberries.
Have a nice day, and keep looking up.
END.
