Is Freedom Really Free?
Is freedom really free?
USA, my country says tis of thee.
At work I can’t speak my mind without a look,
if I mention my beliefs or the most Holy Book.
All other beliefs or lifestyles should be respected,
it is getting to the point it is expected.
Now I’m not saying we should not love each other,
for we are to love our neighbor like our brother.
However, if I mentioned, “I disagree”.
A hate crime they would give me for a fee.
What is the world coming to, I do not know.
Seems closer to that mighty trumpet blow.
It’s hard to be a Christian in these days,
with all this sin and it’s wicked ways.
All I know is freedom isn’t really free,
unless I’m in Christ, and Him in Me.
