It's funny how two people can meet
and truly understand one another.
Frustration at the lives we live
binds us together as little else can.
Do you wonder what life could be like
if we had the daring to step away?
Every moment I spend with you
takes my thoughts to a happier place.
I do not truly know you
but a whispered word send thrills
straight through my very being.
Perhaps I'm looking for a good excuse
to walk away from the bad.
Perhaps I was destined to find
someone as understanding as you
to show me that I'm not the only one
who goes through pain this way.
Following you about as we explore
the dangers of the lands,
I only hope I don't annoy you
as your friendship means so much to me.
