Heading out the door, out of state
My heart is breaking.
Everything I know is here,
Everything I love, my home.
Lost here in the darkness
he is my light, my love, my heart.
Living each moment as my last
I long to be with him tonight.
One last night together before I go
a cherished memory full of hope.
I'm so afraid to say goodbye
so afraid I'll lose him if I leave.
Love of my life sing to me
Sing our song to the sky
Only promise you'll remember me.
My future seems bleak and hazy
very depressing without you in it.

Envelop me in your arms
