To see you was my happiness.
To hold you my only wish.
My heart skipped a beat
when I told you I love you.
Your eyes are what drew me,
those beautiful eyes,
that seemed as if
they saw into my soul.
Your smile was like air
to a soul that couldn't
catch it's breath.
The first kiss we shared,
made me feel like a candle
burning inside, melting away.
The things we shared,
our thoughts, our hopes,
made me feel closer
to someone than I ever have before.
The smallest thing in common,
the slightest similarity,
made me feel less lonely.
You changed my world.
My life was not so alone anymore,
my heart felt free to care.
I felt crushed when you left me,
but out of that darkness
a light shone through--
The light of your friendship.
Your friendship means more to me
than anything in the world.
You see me and accept me
for who I am.
Make me feel beautiful and amazing,
when everyone else
always put me down.
To me, you are special, important.
