Time passed long ago yet i sat waiting,

wondering how i missed my ride, frustrating,

almost hating my decisions as much as you,

fell in love then climbed out of love with you,

doesn't mean that still daily i don't see you,

close my eyes and you're there, open up to see who?

almost wanted two, now no other choice but one,

until my chorus is finished and my single is sung,

maybe tomorrow will be better, hope falls through then,

if that tomorrow ever comes can i call you then?

tired of living with the ghost of our memories,

i'll never see us as nothing more then friendly enemies,

i would have done so much, maybe lived up,

to the man i know i am, you think i chose to give up,

when i chose to save my sanity, when in the end,

my sanity was being with you, now there's no time to spend.
