I've been loving you, asking nothing in return,

all i hope is i will again earn,

another chance to show you i mean love,

when i look you in your eyes, you're my one true love,

we all have many, but the rest are false,

the one true love goes above all else,

you are my true one, or at least my heart,

tells me that much after i fall apart,

we catch eyes across the room, smile and look away,

them look right back, start walking each others way,

until we're face to face, the time is counting down,

the clock strikes midnight, we hear no sound,

our lips are pressed together, our eyes shut tight,

as we prove something to each other at midnight,

that is my dream, my fix, my solution,

and if i had a list, it'd be my only resolution.
