Even in the cold, can't cook nothin up,

my hunger is mighty, things are still lookin up,

when i wake up in a daze, time unknown,

i no longer look for you when i turn on my phone,

i'd rather live for the things that just yesterday,

i'd die for at the end of past days,

even in the power outage, thought bulb still lights,

i still feel better each day, i still write,

even if the fight feels lost i still stand up,

finish what i start and always man up,

when life gets hard i take it easy,

even if i can't locate a single girl to please me,

never gonna know how bright our light could've,

now i'll never know if again you would've,

maybe i should've immediately ended it,

write "i'm sorry, this doesn't work" and send it.
