I still remember the back and forth messages,

the phone conversations and silent sentences,

i can't say good bye or even try,

to ask you how you do it easily and why,

i still remember the recital where i barely kept

my eyes off you like a neat freak who never swept,

pile of dust over there, no more rug to hide it,

it's out in the open and now two sided,

do you still remember the first kiss we shared?

i try to not think of how why or where,

cause compared to most they can't add up completely,

that's a fact that is now beginning to eat me,

i won't forget no matter how lost in the moment i was

the time we spent together now fuels the crowds applause,

cause i felt what i did with you,

i can now emote a feeling that was once true.
