We live in the same town but we never see,

each other, it's the way it should be,

i go to all of our places, not a single trace of us,

only in my memory do i re-see us,

i'm getting bored, waiting around for no one,

not getting any younger, new song must be sung,

take away yesterday and show your tomorrow,

only show confidence and hide all your sorrow,

only then will she borrow your company,

if i'm attractive to her she won't be dumpin me,

got this ability to calm anyone down,

but i don't see anyone around,

must be lately i've found a smart choice,

all in a past, very familiar voice,

never could i expect we'd go so far,

now i know fully, a shooting star.
