June 2012 I wish i could again talk of both of us,
why must what we had be enough?
here's something you don't know,
i can't even watch a Swift video,
from her eyes down she is a twin,
to the first girl to make me grin,
now i'm past her, just in first,
living proof that it could be worse,
if life hadn't chosen this way
for the two of us, could be today
i may think of you in some small way,
even thought i never ever say hey,
it's only cause i know we've moved on,
like the 70s, we already grooved on,
had our moment and now it's another hour,
what we had fell apart like a poorly built tower.
