got razor words and voiceless birds ripping apart my heart as well,
tonight you yet again asked if moving was something i'd do,
and some other guy is sharing the covers with someone as perfect as you,

i lay with a girl and think of you til the pain is done,
how can i believe her when i know she just wanted fun,
i'm the only one who'd walk barefoot over glass for you,
i'm the only one who'd stay even though your pushing me away too,

it's only love that makes you learn,
that distance always has it's turn,
when all the guys you talk to are gone,
only then will i be your only one,

please baby it's hard for me to ever really explain,
i've gone down that road and was left all alone, not going back again,
her blue eyes and perfect smile won't let it go away,
