Question-1:
List the type of needs you have found after applying “students’ mapping Tools” (S.M.T) of your class from your own school.
Answer:
From my observation and using mapping tools I have found that my student (above mentioned) has the following needs:-
1.
Academics : High Achiever
2.
Individual Need: Kinesthetic and Visual learner.
Question-2:
Identify with bullets, how you have found the learners need by applying S.M.T?
Answer:
1.
Background of the Learner: by Talking to the supervisor, checking the previous records, getting De-briefing from ex-subject teacher.
2.
Obtain School data: Records from office has been checked to get her attendance, consistency of the result, and disciplinary issues.
3.
What school is doing to support her: Continuous monitoring, progress meeting with supervisor and parents to get the follow ups. School is providing resources (i.e., Computer, Projector, teaching materials apart from text books only).
4.
Pushing the boundaries: The student is capable and very much interested to solve higher order problems. I used to give her extra challenging task.
5.
Frequently asking question: Which is regularly done both by verbally and taking written quizzes.
6.
Keep the findings in the profile: The records are strictly maintained both by me in the register copy and the school authority and follow up is done by the supervisor and parents.
