It is today
Today.
Today is the last day
Of the rest of my life.
Today,
Protected by the sorrow
Of my persona
I sit in the corner of my life
Reflecting on a long day
Like that night we argued
And you raising your voice
To make yourself feel stronger
Not for me to hear you.
And hear I did not
And here I am not
As my wits are as mortal
As a dead mans life.
And it’s today
And today like every other day
We try to understand
And to understand the
Context of a person
You must find comfort
In a qualitative idea
Of forward movement
Of mind.
And I find that
It is today
Today
And today I say good-bye
To a better tomorrow.
