A cheap perfume
Everytime I visited my grandparent’s house it was always that same smell, some generic brand of perfume that my grandmother loved to wear, tons of it, I wouldn’t be surprised if she was buying a one for each week,I can’t remember a day where I visited my grandparents and the whole house didn’t smelled like that perfume, it was a generic one very forgettable, I don’t even remember the name but I do remember the shape of it, it had a rectangle shape and a yellowish color as I said not very memorable but it definitely had a very strong essence that I’ll always remember plus add that to the tons she used. I don’t visit my grandparents often as they live on another city, sometimes they travel here and sometimes me and my family travel there, they don’t go out a lot so it’s usually me and my family traveling there. Sometimes my uncles are there sometimes not but as I said my grandparents don’t usually leave the house so they’re always there. Oh she’s still alive I’m saying this in past because the store where she used to buy it (or someone else would go buy it for her) is closed, it was one of those old stores that wasn’t a famous big chain, at first my grandmother stopped using perfume for a while until my aunt gave her another one she bought for her. Nowadays she uses this perfume, this one is has a strong essence too but it’s not the same at the old one, it kinda smelled like pure alcohol actually but it’s better than the smell of tobacco I guess.
