When you sit next to me,

I get butterflies,

And I feel the same way,

When I look into your eyes.

And when you look right through me,

Like I’m clear,

I feel my heartbeat,

Disappear.

And when you love starts to fade away,

I’ll be chasin it for days upon days.

Cause I can’t go a day without you here,

You’re part of me,

I swear my dear.

Girl when you decide to leave me,

Give me a notice so I can start grieving.

I would write you a poem,

Give you a dozen flowers a day,

But girl you gotta promise,

That you’re gonna stay.

Don’t say we aren’t right,

For each other now,

The way I see it,

We aren’t right for anyone else.

And when you come towards me,

To hug me tight,

My heartbeat flutters,

From your sight.

Girl why would you say that you’re leaving?

I wrote this song,

So you’d have something to believe in.

But I guess faith that ain’t your style,

So girl what do you see we do right now?

We could float to the top of the moon,

Be back somewhere ‘round 12 o’clock noon.

Girl whatever you dream,

I got it for you,

Just say the word,

I’ll make it true.
