And he’s scared of being ignored,

So he fights so you’ll see him,

And not hit the floor.

And she cries,

Cause she can’t get the guy,

So she sits on the floor,

With tears in her eyes.



And now they just are both two kids,

With no reason to die,

But no reason to live.

And now maybe,

You’ll see what they feel,

This isn’t some fairytale story,

This is pain,

This is real.



Now they don’t see his mom,

On the couch with her drugs,

And they don’t see her dad,

While he beats on her mom.

So remember,

That it may not be you,

But it’s happening now,

And it’s real,

And it’s true.



For each face in the hall,

There’s a story that screams,

Take me out of this hell,

Why can’t it all be a dream?
