Fallen Angel (A Short Story)

I sat happily in heaven, watching mortals ruin their lives and their world. I was also watching the hopless others trying to save it. "If there was anything I could do to help, I would." I thought to myself. I soon realized I was lying.
I felt a sudden sensation I had never experienced before. A force pulling me down. My wings were useless at this point, I was already falling at tremendous speeds towards earth.
My fall seemed endless. The wind was rushing through my hair and wings, down my back, flowing through my skirt. I was passing by objects I'd only seen from a distance. I saw planes and birds, kites and lightning.
Just as I was begining to enjoy my free fall, I hit the ground with a deep thud. My vision blurred. It didn't hurt when I hit the ground, but pain now surged through my body as the energy and power draing out of me. A weight was suddenly lifted off my shoulders, literally. I realized next my wings were gone.
As I started to black out, I heard a voice coming from the Lord himself "you are going to help." i could hear him smiling through his words. "Make a difference."
I woke soon later, feeling smaller and lighter. It felt as if I were in someone's hands. My vision was blurry again, similar to when I had passed out, but now I was in a different setting. It was a hospital. I was in a hospital.
I heard unfamiliar voices "She's beautiful, what should we name her?" a male voice asked in astonishment.
A female voice answered "Angel, for she is our fallen angel God has gifted us with."
If they only knew how true that was.

Author's Notes/Comments:

This has literally been a dream of mine since I was young, its a very repetitive dream, I have it about twice a month. Well, up until the awakening in a hospital part. I added that.
