Touched By An Angel
An angel touched me from above
In an instant I was full of love
A special magic went right through
Then she whispered I love you
I began to laugh and then to cry
I saw the sun, kiss the sky
Never knew this was in my heart
So much joy, please don’t part!
I felt my burdens suddenly lift
My mind was racing like a swift
I could see my every thought
Pictures forming, never caught
Floating now just like a cloud
A special kind of silence fell
Standing at the pearly gates
Where my destiny awaits
I spoke with God, in an instant too!
Then whisked away to some place new
Never will I doubt again
My loving angel, my best friend
As we travelled in my car
I caught a glimpse of a shooting star
It must have been my angel leaving
Heaven sent, my soul believing!
