If you could only see what you really mean to me,

Then maybe you would know to just what lengths I would go.

Baby, I love you, but I want to know if you love me too;

If you don't, that's fine: just tell me if I'm acting out of line.



All I am looking for is someone to love and care for,

And to always be true: I hope it's you.



If you could only hear the sound of my heart whenever you're near,

Then maybe you would understand that you've got my love in the palm of your hand.

Baby, I need you, but I don't know if I can make it through

Without some happiness, and maybe just a little tenderness.



My love for you is strong, but I can't wait for long,

Because I've got to find out without any doubt

If your heart I'll gain or if my love is in vain,

Because there will never be another you or another me.



If I could only touch your soft skin that I yearn for so much,

Or maybe just kiss your sweet lips, and feel the magic of your fingertips,

Then maybe I would find the reason that you're driving me out of my mind,

And maybe I would know the reason why I love you so.
