i wish that with these words

i could turn back time

time before i knew you

and time when i could just say no

for when i met you

our eyes met, freezing me into place

i couldnt move. i couldnt speak.



now all i wish is that when we met

i would have turned around

and ran the other way.

for you see, you brought me great sorrow.

which i cannot show.

instead i am forced to live a lie

and keep all my thoughts, feelings

and emotions locked up.

hoping one day i can finally be free.

and praying that one day

i can get rid of you.

and move on with my life.
