If Heaven ever had a choice
Of a scene to last forever
Let it be of Canadian wilds
Highlighting Nature's endeavour.
A hardy cabin in the woods,
Mountain peaks in the far distance,
Gentle does grazing with their young fawns
Rivers splashing their existence.
This is my peaceful dream of home
Of beauty and of wild pleasure
This land, abundant abandonment-
A place to enjoy at leisure.
