My Garden Of Flowers
My flower garden is beautiful,
It soothes me and stimulates.
I love the deeply red hollyhock
High against the creamy slates.
The delicate foam of baby's breath
Provides the perfect foil
To the rich blooming red roses
Bursting from fertile soil.
The lavender adds such a quaint touch.
Petunias, bright marigolds,
Violets and snapdragons
My garden gently enfolds.
The fragrance is delightful-
My pot pourri of favourite scents.
My senses are quite inundated.
My pleasure is most intense.
My flower garden is exquisite,
I love to lose my self there.
Heavenly rapture is here for me
I rise above mortal care
