Today I sing

Upon awakening.

My blood rushes

Through rested limbs

And I inhale deeply

The incipient joys of the day.



I give thanks

That yesterday is over

And today is a new beginning.

The errors of a previous day are gone.

My future is my present

My present is my future.

I am reborn.



I kiss you tenderly

Going with the flow

Of magic morning moments

Ahh, life is good.
