Attracting birds and bees
And butterflies.
Squirrels ran around the fence
And raided bird feeders.
Jewelled tones sparkled
From every pot and cranny.
The whole garden glowed
As radiant sunshine
Burnished each petal and leaf.
Colour, texture, pattern
Rhythm inlaid.
