SEATIDES RECEDE

Seatides recede
that they
may reseed.
The sea secedes
to regroup and
later sow seaseeds.

TED'S SEABIRD

Ted found the seabird
in winter, broken-winged,
huddled in the shorebrush
in the snow and high winds,
a fishhook in his throat...
attached to a fishing line
which crippled one leg.
After days of trying, he
finally caught the bird
in order to heal him.

(Footnote: Ted Zagar)

ONE MAN'S ODYSSEY

He put women on pedestals...
glorifying virginity and
'innocence'... considering
sex to be a barnyard animal
activity... this belief of his
and a brutal father caused
him to become gay. In
the military the gay men
in his unit were framed.
They were invited to a party
and then all arrested.

FIXiNG A RADIO

Dominic was fixing
a car radio for a friend.
As he made the new electronic
connection, he immediately heard
his favorite, the 'Happy" song.

(Footnote: Dominic F of Akron O)

SHAKTI

Light, love, power,
money... some of the
infinite forms that
shakti takes.

FORGIVING IMPROVES HEALTH

Forgiving strengthens the immune
system, reduces the incidence of
heart attacks and strokes.

THE ANIMAL KILLING 4%

Hunters are 4% of the US
population and greatly
exaggerate what they do
for the environment as
they pay many thousands of dollars
to shoot endangered species in Africa.
Their political power is vastly
disproportionate to their numbers.

SUMMONING ANGELS

Jesus, Buddha, Hindu gurus,
saints such as Padre Pio
are able to summon angels
to perform miracles, to
heal, to give guidance.

(Footnote: Padre Pio
summoned the guardian
angels of those he was
ministering to for
guidance.)

DIVINE PARADOX

It is a divine paradox
that those who kill
others hasten their
victims' entrance into
paradise.

FOR HER

He could voluntarily
asked for an exit visa
from God at any time,
but he stayed on earth,
his heart faithfully
beating on, for his beloved.

YELLOW TO GOLD

Those yellow flowers
gradually turned gold...
as the mind chalice
filled with Spirit

MEANDER

The goose and her
gander
strolled in
the meander

NOT AN ENDORSEMENT

To forgive another
or oneself is not
to endorse
the offending action
but to transcend it.

EGO ME ABSOLVO

The priest says
"Ego te absolvo"
(I absolve you of
your sins) but all
have the power to
forgive tghemselves
and to move on with
their lives..

Ego me absolvo.
I absolve myself.

JUDGE NOT ADDICTS

People who harshly
judge drug addicts
are often addicted
themselves to the
trioxypurine in animal
flesh (meat) which is
stronger than the dioxypurine
of caffein.
