Ignorant theologians
debate how many angels
dance on the head of a pin.
It is writers who know
that angels dance
on the points of their pens.

FIX NOT THE SHELL SHARDS
When souls shed bodies
to answer heaven's bell
they need not leave behind
clean earthly prison cells
as moved out renters needn't
fix the places they did dwell
nor chicks affix every shard
of eggs' quite shattered shells.

There are no
shadows cast
by falling
rain
but sad are
dry rainshadow
terrains
like saplings
blocked from
light by
massive trees
or children of
busy parents
who don't have
time to give love.
WORD QUEUE
Like bees around a bloom
many thoughts swirl
in a writer's brain.
Is it a mystery that
they line up obediently
in a queue to be penned
one word at a time?
