The florist decapitated
the flowers
and sent them on
a day of freeze.
Opening the box the
woman found
2 petal-trapped frozen bees.
A few days later, the
petals had fallen and
shriveled.
As she swept them up
regret did her seize.
She learned to
let the blooms be
to be kissed
in the garden by bees.
