All pigs are sacred
All sheep are sacred
All cows are sacred
All beings are sacred

Sufis, Muslims.

NO SQUEALING

There are some men
who run from giggling
squealing verbose women

FLYING SNAIL

The full moon sails
... a flying seasnail
Left on the sea her
liquid silver trail.

WALKING ON WATER
*
The full moon beckons
unfolding her magic
carpet across the sea.
Those who can walk
on water are able
to follow.

PRAYING FOR FOES

Many spiritual paths counsel that we pray for foes. For many vegans, butchers, vivisectors, factory farmers, trappers are foes. If we pray for, send positive energy and light to all beings, we are including even those of hardest hearts.

GM

As General Motors which took federal subsidies & tax cuts on January 24, 2019 shut down GM factories in Ohio to send work out of the US, 1 remembers Michigan people GM evicted from their homes through eminent domain, whose factories are shut down, factories built on their bulldozed home land.
When Preston Tucker, maker of Tucker cars, tried in the 1940's to make GM put seat belts in their cars and said the 3 carmaker execs should go to jail for manslaughter, GM operatives and Sen. Ferguson worked to put him out of business. Ralph Nader too would later be hounded by the company.
