NINE SHORT POEMS

CLARIFIED SEA MIRROR
the sun with his
clean cloth has
wiped the morning fog
from the sea mirror.
It now blazes with
his reflected light.
NOT PRO LIFE BUT PRO DEATH
They call themselves 'pro life' as they support war, execution, and the eating
of murdered mammals, birds and fishes. They are not pro life. They are pro death.
They arrogantly assert in ignorance that animals have no souls.
V FORMATION
Migrating birds in disciplined V formation fly...
that they not with each other
collide in the sky
BELLY CAN
With dead fish
the pelican
turns his stomach
into a belly can
PUZZLE PIECES
They subdivide and crucify the animals...
but these puzzle pieces can never
be reassembled. The life that butchers
and those who pay the hitmen by
buying the meat take... can never
be reassembled into those animals.
THE FAMILY THAT SLAUGHTERS TOGETHER
Government funded media networks
would have us all believe
that the family which slaughters together
stays together.
NOSTRIL VIOLATION
You are raping my nostrils,
said the woman to another
who had sait down nest to
her and was wearing patchouli

The salamander
who meanders
