.. bejeweled by morning dew
glistening with miracles
as truth speeds along
its filaments

(an anti hierarchy web..
with fewer fiscal ties
than corporate media)

EARTHLY PRINCES

Our 3 government
branches are
replete
with princes of the unprincipled.

MARS APPROACHES

In the heavens venus
was slowly approached by mars
as on the earth one saw
his eyes beam with loving
stars

AUGURY

Ancient Roman
augury entails
murdering sheep to
inspect their entrails.
What was the resulting
sign of this practice
antiquarian...?
That augurs and their
patrons
were barbarians.

FAR WORSE WAS CAESAR

Caesar was stabbed to
death by seven conspirators
among them Decius,
Brutus and Cassius.
Yet the dictator
who crucified 6000
Spartacus led slaves
was Caesar
with his partner Crassus.

INKLINGS

Under an inkdark sky
inklings
flowed into inclinations.

CROWN CHAKRA AWAKENING

Up the ladder
slides kundalini adder.
Strikes his tongue dagger
His enjoyed
victim staggers.

RAINBOW GOLD

A pot of gold they say
lies at the rainbow's end.
And a single shaft of sun
pours into a silent lake
A golden pool it makes.

UNBIASED SUN

It seemed
shafts of sunlight
were pointing
to the right
but the dark clouds
passed
and holier politics
ensued.

STAGE CURTAIN

The stage curtain's
red sea parts
Suddenly the actor
appears
playing his part.

APPALACHIAN

These ancient
mountains' appellation
was the landlocked
range called Appalachian...
May there and everywhere
become
mango pear and apple
nations.

ACTION IN THE STANDS

Angels on one side in the stands
Devils on the other...
battling for the souls
of those on the playing field...
the main action is in
the stands

BLOOD OF THE ROOD

Caesar's wife Calpurnia
dreamt his stone statue
poured from many
points with blood.
Unlike Caesar's
blood,
that of the crucified
Jesus heals from
his rood.

IDES

It is nearly always
the moon's Ides
when most powerful
are the tides
and further upon
land their
watergift inslides.

The kalends were the
first of the month...
though originally they
were the time of the
new moon. The ides
were the time of full
moon and the nones
the time midpoint.
Police departments know
there is more crime during
the full moon... as did
Rome know on the Ides of
March
between them.
