MARS SCEPTERED DAWN
Mars-sceptred dawn
confers on all his awakening wands
not rods of violence
but rays of violet.
In the two hours after
sunrise..
he always gave her
space.
In the two hours after
sunset, he sought
to see her face.
At daybreak his mars made 1 into 2.
At moonrise his venus made 2 into 1.
