JUDICIAL ABUSERS

They take a trap
and on it put grease
and in Siberian winters
ermine tongues to it freeze.
Their little white fur
long ago did kings and
judges please.
It was a sign
not of moral authority
but of force-sired
immorality.

(Britain is working
to make this a thing
of the past.
Some British and
American judges
have ermine on their
robes. He and she are the little
animals with white
fur and a black stripe.)
