dogs and cats
in labs raise their
paws.
Requesting mercy
lobsters pray
with touching claws
requesting that
we respect their
right to exist

SIBERIAN SNOWDROPS

sunset snow in Siberian silence
the avalanches melting
into snowdrops
which would nurse
the headwaters
of the rivers of
joy and supply

Cold hell
is heaven's shell

and with global warming
Siberia
will have as many fruit trees
as Liberia or Nigeria
