Rose Velvet

There were not always

flourishing roses velvet

for Eleanor Roosevelt..

her husband's infidelity

smashed the Faberge egg

of her happiness against

the wall.. shattering

it into pieces..

as he broke her heart

into bits..

Every single bit

became the fuel

with which she changed

the world
