The great pig waste lagoons
which repel the loons..
from factory farms
of silent hysteria..
breeding places of pfiesteria
cesspools of listeria

by God's grace
mysterious
can let the animals go

and become wisteria

RACCOON LOVE

At the Cleveland
apartment building
a Chinese tenant
talked of seeing
raccoons partaking
of the dumpster
buffet.

In his eyes was
heartwarming delight
as he talked of the
enchanting sight
of these masked
and brilliant
creatures of the night.

Footnote:
For those who don't like
raccoons
industrial dumpsters can
be made with more secure
lids so that the innocents
do not freeze to death
trapped at the bottom of
the metal cages at night
nor are they crushed to
death when mechanical
collectors dump all the
contents into the crusher.
For those who love the
raccoons, rope ladders
could be permanently affixed to the
insides of the dumpster.
