JOSEPH'S COAT OF MANY COLORS
Joseph's coat of many colors
was pulled from him
by his brothers
Isaiah said of Jesus
"they have divided my garments
amongst them"
as Christ looked down
from the cross at his mother.
The poor's little boys
look on as scavengers go
through their toys,
put onto the street by
sheriffs enforcing
the greed of landlords.
And the cows created
and loved by
God..
their skin has now
verbal humans shod.
It is good to contemplate
that we are not our bodies
but Spirit
