WISHING WELLS

The hearts of most
are wishing wells
.. which pray for clemency
and wish you well 
 *
(to all on death row in the countries which
have not yet joined the 88% of the world's

nations and 43 US states
which have either banned or

don't enforce the death penalty)

TEARS
*
Adrenalin in terrorized captive
powerless mammals bound for slaughter..
saturates the flesh..
tears never shed
before their souls
their bodies fled
.. it remains in their cadavers
saddening or maddening
those who consume their
remains

CHAPLAIN ASKS FORGIVENESS

Asked forgiveness of all
The Enola Gay bombers' chaplain
for failing to speak the words of Christ
to every private, general and captain.

Footnote: Father George Zabelka, chaplain
in World War II to those who dropped 2 atom
bombs on Japan, asked forgiveness for
failure to speak up. Poster listened to a debate
this morning between an 87 year old WW2 vet
and another man his age. The vet said those
in the service rejoiced when the bomb was
dropped. The latter said
the bomb was dropped to intimidate the Russians
from entering Japan.

BILLIONAIRE AND BRINKS

The billionaire dreamt he
was killed by a hit and run
driver of a Brinks truck.
He awoke in a cold sweat.
At dawn he began by righteous
investments and giving
to change for the better his luck.
