ENCIRCLED BY HER GENEROSITY

The fruit tree's trunk,

a vertical radius..

sign of pi

.. is encircled by

her generosity..

round her feet

lies a circle of fruit

.. some of it will be pies



Elsewhere in the woods

the sun's divine current

is transformed into currants

DIVINE WRAPPING

Infinite are the simple nonharming
wrappings the Creator provides
for His* fruit creations.

Out of the sod
the Almighty God
creates pea pods
Husks of coconut
Walnut shells
Lemon rinds
Apple peels

And some like
the kumquat
and the grape
need no wrapping
at all.
