Shirdi: Never harm a snake or a scorpion. He will only harm you if
ordered to do so by God. If so ordered there is nothing you can do
about it.

In the deep woods..
one came upon sacred ground
where grew a silent shrine:
a stellium of trillium
where trilliums were concerned
my father was a Jain

for he knew it would mean
their death
