The sun with her
came out to play
but shy night
could not stand his light
and ran quite away.

SUN ARRAYS HIMSELF

Over the lip of the earth
broke into night the sun.
A little cloud
.. a baby herald
ran and told everyone.
Each little cloud soon
caught the sun.
Each little cloud stopped
Babe Ruth's home run.

Himself sun arrays
in His own rays
and as He arises
and all birds He arouses
His rays are of
pink and purple and rose.

As he threw mud at the sun
  as he threw rocks at the sea
   as he knifed the fire
as he slapped the wind
he began to be exhausted..

he began to realize
that SPIRIT and GOD
are invulnerable

The sun is an
extravagant spender
of his own
blazing splendour
but he always

The loving sun
is smiling on all
these ways and all ways
these days and always

Divine winds can blow away
Divine lightning rain away
my selfspun clouds
my selfknitted shrouds

SILENT FIREWORKS

On the horizon a
ransoming pink band
.. a risin to
a rainbow strand
.. shooting the silent
fireworks of dawn
!!
here a rocket of gold
there clusters of rose
and when the air
is filled with light's spawn
here comes the sun!
